The NIU N1, was all about pushing the boundaries of electric scooter design with compact proportions and a modern, streamlined aesthetic. My goal was to create a clean, simple look that integrated advanced technology while remaining practical for city use, striking a balance between form and function to set new standards for urban mobility.

One key feature was the halo ring headlight, which was a game changer for scooter and motorcycle design. It was the first time a distinct facial design identity had been created for a vehicle of this type, giving the N1 an instantly recognizable look. The bold lines and minimalist surfaces were intended to act as a blank canvas, allowing the design to stand out while letting the rider’s personality come through in how they interact with the vehicle. By blending style, performance, and a unique identity, I aimed to influence future trends and show how thoughtful design can transform everyday commuting.
